After the verdict

From verdict that the court ordered to seize 4.6 billion baht from 7.6 billion baht of Mr.Thaksin Shinawatra's assets, The court explained that the money will be transfer to the asset of Thailand, however, Thaksin still contradicted that the verdict was unfair.

Today, Thaksin phoned in from his homstay at Dubai to Puea-Thai Party headquarters. He swore to many audiences's face that if he made corruption when he held the position of the prime minister, he wished he meet with something untoward within 7 days.

Also, red-shirt supporters of him gathered at Puea-Thai Party headquarters, looked glum and cried heavily after the court made the decision and Thaksin phoned in to them.

For me, it is an anoying event of Thailand. I do not want to say who do I support, but Mr.Thaksin always has been insisting that he was pure, because he never made corruption, then he like to help poor people, and develope Thailand to be better, so why he rejected the verdict that his 4.6 billion from all 7.6 billion baht, will become the asset of the country. Also, I want to know extremely that how much he paid to who came to pretend crying in the headquarters, and will they cry heavily like this if their own parents died?

Bombs at Silom and Rama2

At 9.45 pm. of Feb 27, there were two violence events at Silom Road and Rama2 Road of Bangkok. Someone threw a bomb into the Bangkok Bank, Silom Branch, which located opposite WatKak, the best famous temple of the road. That bomb effected the road in front of the bank become a deep hold. A public telophone in front of got damage. The mirror of the bank was broken. A taxi that was park closed the bank lost a wheel in the back side. Then the mirror a new car under Mazda Brand, also was broken.

Police tried to find information from people who were around there until they knew that two men wore black clothes, rode a motorcycle and parked in front of the bank. And the man in the back side of the motorcycle threw the bomb to the gate of the bank. Then they rushed to drive for escape suddenly when the bomb started to explode.

And the another scene, there was the same event at the Bangkok Bank, Rama2 Branch.

The King of Thailand got off from hospital

At 8.50 pm. of Feb 27, The King Bhumiphol got off Siriraj hospital.
The King wore a pink suit and black shoes. Then the King led Mr.Thongdang while waving his hand and smiling to many people who went to wait the time that the King would come out from the hospital. They felt very happy that the King's health was better. Some of them could not stop their own tear because of happiness.

The King prefered to see the river in front of the hospital and the scenery that surround there before went back to the Jitrada-Rahotarn, Dusit Palace.

This was a very good new for Thais, especially when Thailand is during a lot of violence problems at the moment.

Thaksin: I do not accept the verdict

Fugitive former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said in that he do not accept the verdict, after the court of Thailand considered his case and decided to seize his 46 billoin baht in assets. He thought it was something like he was robbed.

However, the ex-premier called on his supporters to refrain from moving to help him but to use peaceful that means to bring back true democracy and to solve problem of injustice in the country.

The lawyer of Shinawatra family said a team of lawyers is studying to bring the Thaksin assets sezure cause to the international court of justice.

Request a lucky number

According to the news of yesterday, many people in Rayong went to the shrine of Mr.Adisak's home that he dedicated a black motorcycle, for request a lottery number.
They trust that the guardian spirit of the shrine will give a number for them as soon as motorcycle speed.

It is normal in Thailand. I always hear the story like this.
Most of Thai people like to buy lotteries and they still believe in bless from scared articles.

Dedicate to shrine

I read the interesting news from Khaosod Newspaper of Feb 22, 2010.

Someone in Rayong, a province of Thailand, took a motorcycle to dedicate for the shrine.
Mr.Adisak Bupphachart, a police of Rayong, change a motorcycle to all black color and sticked the wheels with the floor in front of the shrine, by cerment.

He said that he need the guardian spirit of the shrine to use it as a vehicle substitued a horse or an elephant, because it can move faster.

It was an astonished event that happened in Thailand, by a Thai person.

I think that most people who know the news might like his reason.

Also, I agree with him extremely. I think that it is not ridiculous.

Contrarily, it can be a sample to show that someone still need the god to destroy evil people in the world quickly.

Practice to cope with mob.

The prime minister of Thailand, Mr.Aptsit Vechacheeva, prepared an army including 3,900 of polices and soldiers to practice for cope with the red-shirt mob, because the mob still keep meeting at the moment.

12 injured by Pattani motorcycle-bomb

To begin with an exploded event which just happened in Pattani, there was 12 people who got wound by exploding from a motorcycle which parked on the roadside in front of the central prison of Pattani.

From the evidence, most people thought that the bomb might hidden inside the fuel tank of the motorcycle, but nobody could guess why the terrorist(s) who establish the bomb, needed this event to happened in front of the prison.

According to a lot of evil behaviors from the separatist insurgents in the south of Thailand that had happened for long time continuously, the polices of most provinces in the sourt of Thailand believe that the insurgents still keep making violent events around the area in nowadays, and this event might be one of their behavior also.

Seven indicated for Santika Pub fire

Acoording to the event of fire in Santika Pub on New Year's Eve 2008 which caused 66 people died and many people were injured.
In Wednesday, Febuary 17, the public attorney arraigned 7 people who were the partners of Santika Pub.
But only 4 people of them went to the court in that day.

Most families of people who got damange from that event think that they should show some responsibility to the cases of deaths and injuries, but they did not.
They still insisted with the reason that the fatal blaze happened by the band which was playing in that time.

A counselor of them request a postponement of the indicatement, but the court rejected.

Then the atthorney decided to give other 3 defendants who did not appear in the court, 15 days to report and acknowledge the indicatemant unless they want to the court to send polices to arrest them, and they will be prisoners seddenly.

BRAZEN BANDIT HOTFOOTS IT

Police are searching for a man who politely removed his footwear at a gold shop in Phra-Nakhon-Sri-Ayutthaya, before snatching a 17,000-baht gold necklace and fleeing barefooted.
He grabbed a necklace and ran from the shop. He jumped on to a yellow Honda Wave motorcycle and sped off as a pillion passenger.
This event happened in the time that there was only one woman in the gold shop, because other staffs were at lunch.

It was a bad event in Thailand again. Actually, I think that most of Thai prople might be familiar with any matters like this, because they had happened very offten around Thailand.

In my opinion, I believe that anyone who steal or rob something for change it to money, has no choices to choose. Most or robbers are poor people, and sometime they also need to use money.
According to some Thai dramas, some families are very poor. They have no money to buy food, so someone went to outside to rob something and sell it, then buy food for their own old parents or younger sisters and brothers.

New Year reveller will be pretty in pink

A shopper in Chinatown, Yaowarat selects a pink T-shirt to wear for Chinese New Year celebrations. To avoid political associations, people are being urged to switch to pink from the usual red colour used for the Chinese holiday, because red has become a symbol of social division in the country.
Red is the auspicious colour traditionally worn to usher in Chinese New Year. The campaign to switch to pink has speard confusion among garment sellers and other people planning to join the festivities in Chinatown.

In my opinion, I agree with this change. Red has become to the symbol exactly and it would be confuse surely if people wear red clothes in Chinese New Year. Then another thing, it would be so cool that Thai people would wear pink clothes in Chinese New Year of this year, because the day is also Valentine Day for universal.

Thaksin calls for red-shirt unity

Published: FEB/9/2010 at 01:24 PM

Key leaders of the United front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) should end their conflict with Gen Panlop Pinmanee, a key member of the opposition Puea Thai Party, and army specialist Maj Gen Khattiya Sawasdipol, fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra said in a tweet.

“There must be unity in the red-shirt people group as a big mission awaits them," Thaksin said in a posting on his Twitter page about 11.20am on Tuesday.

He thanked red-shirts who were worried about the rift within the group and had phoned to ask him to help settle the dispute.

The three core leaders of UDD, Veera Musikhapong, Jatuporn Promphan and Natthawut Saikua, were not happy with the Gen Panlop's announcement of a "people’s army", which was supported by Maj-Gen Khattiya, widely known as Seh Daeng.

Mr. Jatuporn strongly criticised Gen Panlop and Seh Daeng, saying they had created problems for the UDD.

He said the two officers were outsiders, not members of the red-shirt people group.

Coalition parties' projects not dumped

Bangkok Post
Published: FEB/8/2010 at 11:57 AM

There are no plans to scrap any of the Thai Khem Khaeng economic stimulus projects supported by the Democrat Party's coalition partners, Deputy Prime Minister Trairong Suwannakhiri said on Monday.

Mr. Trairong denied rumours that the junior coalition parties plan to boycott projects under the 400-billion-baht loan act if the Democrat-led government cancelled the dustless road project, a favourite of the Bhumijaithai Party.

"The government will consider the projects that are necessary and beneficial, such as the dual track rail system and the irrigation system, but the dustless road project is not a priority since it does not bring in revenue to the country."

"I believe the coalition partners can distinguish between the importance of various projects," the deputy premier overseeing economic matters said.

He said the Budget Bureau and the Department of Internal Trade will determine which projects could have their budgets reduced.

There were no plans at this stage to cancel any projects."The Bank of Thailand is moving in a direction by giving Thai investors more freedom to invest overseas, but it will be two to three months before we see the result," he said.

Thaksin's assets like ly to be seized

Bangkok Post
Published: FEB/06/2010 at 01.33 PM

The 76 billion baht frozen assets of ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra could be seized as the court is being pressured to do so by Thaksin’s rivals, Jaturon Chaisaeng, former acting leader of the dissolved Thai Rak Thai Party, said on Saturday afternoon.

Mr Jaturon claimed that the court is being led to rule against Thaksin by people in the government, the anti-Thaksin People’s Alliance for Democracy and the now defunct Assets Scrutiny Committee.

The opponents of the former prime minister have been trying to mislead the society that there could be unrest if the court ruled not to seize Thaksin’s assets.

He called on Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and the Democrat-led coalition administration to stop pressuring the court.

Mr Jaturon insisted that his move was not for putting pressure to the court, but he just wants to bring back peace and order in the country.

The Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions is scheduled to read its verdict on Feb 26 on whether to seize the 76 billion baht frozen assets of Thaksin and his family.
